If you get hurt
Stop playing. Carrying on can make the injury worse.
Treatment often starts with RICE — Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation — to relieve pain, reduce swelling and speed healing. Other treatments include pain relievers, keeping the injured area still, rehabilitation, and sometimes surgery.
