The problem
Good explanations go stale, and the people who fix them are not paid.
- A post, newsletter or video has one author. When it ages, only that author can fix it — and readers move on.
- Wikis stay current because volunteers keep them current, for nothing.
- Teams keep what they know in documents nobody reviews, with no record an auditor would accept.
Hub Nexus
A page anyone can improve, that pays everyone who improves it. Hub Nexus is a publishing platform for articles, video, audio and files. Anyone can propose a change to a page; its maintainers vote the change in; readers support the page, and the money goes to the people who wrote it.
How it works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Create | Write a page: text, pictures, film, recordings, PDFs, tables, books, 3D models. |
| Connect | Gather pages as subpages, or into a publication readers follow. |
| Update | Anyone proposes a change. Review shows it line by line or side by side. |
| Vote | The page's maintainers approve it. Every version is kept. |
| Get funded | Readers support a page once or monthly. Its writers share what it earns. |
Pages, changes and publications
- One editor for text, maths, diagrams, pictures, film and files; Word, PowerPoint and Excel open as PDFs.
- A change is a proposal with a summary and a reason, reviewed as a diff or side by side — pictures, films, PDFs and tables are compared too.
- A publication gathers pages on one subject. Readers follow it or subscribe by email, and can support it monthly: half to its curators, half to its authors.
- The interface is in 16 languages, and translations of a page are joined as one.
Workspaces
The same pages, private to a team, with the controls companies ask for: single sign-on (OpenID Connect, SAML) and SCIM provisioning; approver groups and signed approvals for regulated work (21 CFR Part 11); an audit log exported as CSV; read links and page grants; a monthly recognition budget paid to the members who write.
Business model
- 14% of reader support, after Stripe's fee, on pages and publications, once or monthly. The rest is paid to their writers through Stripe.
- Workspace recognition budgets are funded through the same checkout, on the same terms.
- Workspace plans, priced per member, are next.

Market
People already pay for writing they value: the creator economy is expected to reach $480 billion by 2027, from $250 billion in 2023 (Goldman Sachs); Patreon pays creators more than $2 billion a year; Substack passed 5 million paid subscriptions in March 2025. All of that pays one author for one piece. None of it pays the people who keep a piece correct.
Go to market
- The library. 33,000 pages bring search traffic; each is up for grabs to a writer who rewrites it and earns from it.
- Creators with an audience. A publication with an email list and monthly support, where fans can also improve the work.
- Regulated teams. Reviewed, signed, audited documents for life sciences, finance and government contractors.
