  • Younger children did more yoga than teenagers, among boys and girls alike.
  • Boys were less likely than girls to have practised yoga in both age groups.

The figures come from household interviews with a sample of the civilian, non-institutionalised U.S. population; parents were asked whether their child had practised yoga, as part of a class or on their own, in the past 12 months. CDC points readers to its yoga card for young people for more.
