Welcome to Hub Nexus! Hub Nexus, a service of HubNX, Inc., is a cloud-based platform for version-controlled free-content publishing and development, allowing authors to store and manage their content, through open collaboration from the public proposing changes and financial support on a one-time or recurring basis.

We value your privacy: we keep only the personal data the platform needs to work, and we store it, encrypted, in Hub Nexus's own Amazon Web Services account in the United States, which only the people who run the service can reach. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information. By using our platform, you agree to the terms of this policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

The following meanings apply in this policy: "Site", "App", or "Platform" refers to any website made available by HubNX, Inc. "Services" refers to the Site and all services provided by HubNX, Inc. "HubNX", "Hub Nexus", "we", "us" and "our" refer to HubNX, Inc. and its employees, consultants, officers, directors, or agents (the "Representatives"). "User," "you" and "your" refer to each customer, visitor or user of any Services. If you access or use the Services on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, then (a) "you" and "your" also refers to that entity, (b) you represent and warrant that you are a Representative of the entity with the authority to bind it to these terms of service, and (c) you agree to these terms of service on the entity's behalf.

Workspaces. A Hub Nexus workspace belongs to the organization that runs it. What is in it — its pages and their versions, comments, files, signatures and audit log — and your membership and activity there are processed by Hub Nexus for that organization, on its instructions, under our Data Processing Agreement; the organization decides how that data is used and how long it is kept. To see, correct or delete it, ask the organization; if you ask us, we pass your request on. Your Hub Nexus account itself — your sign-in address, name, picture and profile — and what you publish on the public site are covered by this policy. If an organization invited you or set up an account for you and you never sign in, we delete that account when the invitation or access ends. Information We Collect

We collect the following information for app use only:

• User Name: Used for identification and interaction within the platform.
• Email Address: Used for communication purposes, login verification, and account-related notifications.
  We do not store passwords.

Use of Information

The collected information is used for the following purposes:

• Login: Your email address are used for account authentication.
• Page Ownership and Associations: To associate your account with specific pages and manage ownership.
• User Search: To facilitate user search functionality within the platform.

Signing in with Google

If you choose Continue with Google, Google tells us your name, your email address and that Google has confirmed the address. We use the address to find or make your account, and the name only if you have not chosen one. We keep nothing else from your Google account and never post to it. We accept it only for Gmail and Google Workspace addresses; any other address signs in with an emailed code. Google's own privacy policy covers your Google account.

Problem reports

When you send a problem report, the page takes a picture of what is on your screen at that moment and sends it with your message, your email address, the address of the page you were on, and the size of your browser window. Nothing is captured or sent until you press send, and the picture is taken in your browser from the page itself — other tabs, other windows and the rest of your screen are not in it.

Everything visible on the page is in the picture, including anything you have typed. Use the hide tool to cover what you do not want to send. Reports are stored in our private cloud and emailed to us, are used only to fix what you reported, and are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Notifications on your devices

If you turn on notifications for a device in Settings, we keep the address its browser gives us for them, the language you use and when you turned them on — nothing else about the device. To deliver a notification, we send its words to the push service of your browser's maker (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft), which carries it to the device; a notification about a page in a workspace never names the page. Turning notifications off on that device, or deleting your account, removes the address, and we forget any device its push service says is gone.

The desktop editor

If you sign Hub Nexus Write in on a computer, we keep the name it gives that computer, when it signed in and when it was last used, so that you can see it in Settings and sign it out there. What you write in the app stays on your computer until you send a page to us: only then do its text and files reach us, as a page written on the site does. Signing the computer out, or deleting your account, removes what we keep about it.

Payment Processing

We do not handle payment information directly. All payment transactions are securely processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. Please review Stripe's privacy policy and terms of service for information on how they handle your payment data.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. It lasts 30 days from your last visit, or until you sign out. If you disable cookies, you will need to sign in each time you visit, and anything that needs an account will ask you to.

Data Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your personal information: it is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored in Hub Nexus's own Amazon Web Services account in the United States, which only the people who run the service can reach. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

User Content

User content, e.g. Pages, Collections, or Changes, which are drafted or published on our platform may contain information causing conflict of interests for some readers. To maintain the freedom of speech, and respect the privacy of the content creators, please be aware that we are not responsible in such conflicts. We encourage you to propose a change of the page, to express your concerns in change description and context and to suggest your proposed actions and revised content. You could also communicate with page maintainers, referred to as page author and the people who maintain it, via comments when your change is in review stage. It is up to the page maintainers’s decision to grant or deny your request.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of each site you visit.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on the platform.
