Electric and magnetic fields (EMFs), sometimes called radiation, are areas of energy around electrical devices.

- microwave ovens;
- computers;
- cell phones.
EMFs and cancer

Cell phones
Cell (wireless) phones give off radiofrequency energy (RF), a form of electromagnetic radiation. So far, scientific evidence has not linked cell phone use to health problems in people, but more research is needed before scientists can be sure.
Limiting exposure
If you want to avoid any possible risk:
- spend less time on your cell phone;
- use speaker mode or a headset to keep the phone away from your head.
