Methods
- Data: population-based registries in CDC's National Program of Cancer Registries and the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program, limited to registries meeting data quality criteria for every year from 1999 to 2013 — about 92% of the U.S. population.
- Trends: AAPCs from joinpoint regression, allowing different slopes over three periods, with change points that could differ by age and race.
