Doctors call it infertility when a man hasn't been able to get a woman pregnant after at least one year of trying.

Causes in men
- physical problems with the testicles
- blockages in the ducts that carry sperm
- hormone problems

What to do
If you think you may be infertile, see your doctor: tests can show whether there's a problem. When the cause can be found, treatment may include:
- medicines
- surgery
- assisted reproductive technology
Many couples treated for infertility go on to have babies.
