You may be surprised that NASA is a climate agency. Most of what we know about our changing planet comes from NASA data, and it's from our fleet of over two dozen satellites that form a single great Earth observatory. And it comes from our findings of over 60 years from our platforms in the heavens. NASA technology is helping firefighters spend more time fighting wildfires. NASA satellites are analyzing soil moisture, which helps farmers decide which crops to plant.

NASA data helps city planners and health workers track air pollution. From the surface of the ocean to the International Space Station, NASA information from NASA satellites... It drives action. Freshwater management, monitoring floods, protecting oceans, saving coasts... We even launched a spacecraft to detect dust storms from space, and it's now detecting methane leaks on the Earth below.

The threats to our planet will continue. Our eyes in space will take it all in. What NASA learns in space, we make publicly accessible through the Earth Information Center. It's a one stop shop for this game changing information. The challenge of the climate crisis is here and now.
