3. OpenAI is reportedly sounding out a valuation as high as $1.5T while simultaneously postponing its IPO on safety grounds. Both things are apparently true at once.

5. Factory tripled its valuation to $5B as money keeps moving toward autonomous coding.
6. Meta is preparing another custom chip to loosen Nvidia's grip on its training stack.
7. Google opened up Home devices to AI agents. Agents are moving from your browser into your house.
8. Brussels moved to keep children off social apps and AI chatbots.
9. Hackers published thousands of driver records after breaching a Florida motor vehicle database — the third identity-data story in a week.
10. SpaceX has circled September 22 for Starship's first orbital flight.
Numbers 1 and 4 are the ones I'd sit with. The governance conversation is still about model capabilities, but the thing that's already changed is the codebase. If half of what ships is machine-written, the review process, the hiring bar and the meaning of "senior engineer" all shift before any policy does.
