- Women were more likely than men to feel this tired in every age group.
- The fall with age was steeper among women, from 20.3% of the youngest to 11.5% of the oldest.
How it was measured
Adults were asked how often in the past three months they had felt very tired or exhausted: never, some days, most days or every day. The estimates come from household interviews with a sample of the civilian, non-institutionalised population.
