A sepia tone cabinet card of a standing woman posing with a pedestal table. The photograph is in portrait orientation. The unidentified woman is depicted in full length, standing in three-quarters pose, with her face turned towards the viewer. Her proper right arm is resting on the small, turned and carved, wooden pedestal table next to her on the left. She is wearing a dual tone outfit comprised of a white, long sleeve dress with an ankle length skirt overlaid with a medium toned, sleeveless jacket with a high-low hemline. The jacket has four white buttons running down the front center, a sash at the waist, and a cape. She is also wearing light tone high heel shoes, bird patterned stockings, and is holding a pair of white gloves and a beaded drawstring handbag with her proper left hand. She is also wearing a round, dual tone, broad brimmed straw hat with a rounded crown and a necklace with a large, crown-shaped pendant. On top of the pedestal table is a vase of with reeds and a small stack of thin books. On the right is an elaborately carved corner chair turned backwards. The woman is standing in front of a plain photographic backdrop accented with a painted jug of flowers near the base of the pedestal table, and a floral panel painted down the right side near the corner chair. The rectangular photograph is adhered to a gray, rectangular shaped cardboard mount. There are several lines of embossed bands around the photograph. The surface of the rest of the mount is embossed with irregular crosshatching. At the bottom center is a black photographer’s stamp. The stamps features graphic of a double-headed eagle with splayed wings and a shield over the breastplate. Above the eagle is a crown and below is a wreath. Stamped text to the right of the eagle reads [LEO WEINTROB / 1520 ATLANTIC AVE. / ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.]. The mount has rounded, smooth corners. The back of the carboard mount is plain and dark gray with surface losses along the full length of the right edge, and smaller surface losses at the top left corner and on the top and bottom edges on the right.
