A purple velveteen handbag with a Lucite handle. The trapezoid-shaped body of the purse is made from one panel of purple synthetic velveteen that’s been sewn along the side seams and tucked into a metal frame. There is a debossed broken line pattern along the metal frame, and it has a 1” wide pentagon shaped closure at the center of it. Attached to the bottom of the frame’s interior with matching hardware is an 8.25” long semi-circular clear Lucite handle.
Two panels of black synthetic fabric line the inside of the handbag. At the back side of the interior lining is a 7” wide metal zippered pocket with metal teeth that’s also lined with black synthetic plain weave fabric. Below the zip pocket is the brand label [DOVER / MADE IN USA] in gold text. There’s a layer of stiffener (possibly cardboard) in between the lining and the outer fabric. The entire handbag is machine stitched together.
