An Armed Forces Expeditions streamer owned by General Colin L. Powell. This forked lengthy rayon battle streamer was awarded to General Powell for his leadership in interventions by the United States military as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1989 until his retirement in 1993. The streamer is designed with double-sided horizontal colors featuring a green border and wide bright blue center striped in the middle with red, white, and dark blue. On either side of the center are narrow stripe groups of black, brown, and yellow. Three (3) large bronze stars are embroidered across the center of the streamer. There are no additional stars embroidered on the reverse of the streamer.
