Pink velveteen hat with decorative pleated knot

A pink velveteen hat with a decorative pleated knot. The skull cap hat is made of pink synthetic velveteen and has a self-fabric pleated band sewn along the sides and front of the hat. A decorative knot is placed at the center front along the self-fabric pleated band. Two points are at the center back of the hat. The inside of the hat is lined with black synthetic faille. A pink synthetic petersham ribbon is handsewn along the inner circumference of the hat. Pink tacking stitches are seen along the center front and sides of the hat at the interior. The inside of the hat is stiffened with buckram and a hidden metal wire is placed along the perimeter of the hat. A woven fabric label is handsewn along the petersham ribbon at the center back. The label reads [WOODWARD & LOTHROP / WASHINGTON].
