What is said in the film

This week, NASA captured a new impact on the Moon, completed another spacewalk, and tested the future of high-speed flight. Here’s what’s new, in your NASA Minute. NASA has captured the aftermath of a rocket stage impact on the Moon. New images from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter show the 60-foot crater that was formed when a SpaceX Falcon 9 upper stage struck the lunar surface earlier this month, giving scientists a closer look at how the Moon changed after impact. Another spacewalk is in the books aboard the International Space Station!

On Tuesday, NASA astronaut Anil Menon and ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot spent over six hours outside the orbiting laboratory, removing a failed space-to-ground antenna and preparing to install its replacement. NASA is putting future aircraft wings to the test. At Langley Research Center, researchers used pressure-sensitive paint, high-speed cameras, and a wind tunnel to study how flexible wings perform in flutter conditions, helping close a key design gap for future high-speed aircraft. NASA’s work to achieve the near-impossible is continuing on every frontier. We’ll see you next time in the NASA Minute.
