Highlights from the broadcast of NASA's SpaceX Crew-9 mission launch to the International Space Station. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, with with NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, along with JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Takuya Onishi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov lifted off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 7:48 p.m. EDT Friday, March 14, 2025.

Derrol Nail, NASA Communications: Crew-10 is getting suited up, ready to go. Time now for the traditional card game. Crew-10 walking down the hallway. And here they come! Taking their first steps outside, as they prepare for their journey to the International Space Station.

And we re off the crew on their way to Space Launch Pad 39A. Anne McClain, Nichole Ayers making their way into their Dragon spacecraft Endurance. And here come our mission specialists down the crew access arm. Takuya Onishi, Kirill Peskov Jessica Meir, NASA Astronaut: There they are rotating back. Launch Control: SpaceX, side hatch is closed.

Ignition and liftoff. Go SpaceX, go NASA Crew-10. Anna Schneider, NASA Communications: And liftoff of Crew-10, now soaring to the International Space Station. One point seven million pounds of thrust, now propelling Falcon 9 and Crew-10. We re continuing to get good callouts on the first stage performance so far.
