A page on Hub Nexus is an article — text, pictures, film, recordings or files — that anyone can improve. Every improvement is a change, reviewed by the page's maintainers before it goes live, and every version is kept. Readers can support a page, and what it earns is shared by the people who wrote it.
Start a page
Press Create and choose Page.

You land in the editor. The list at the top says what is left before you can publish.

Write it
Give it a title and write the article. Markdown works as you type, and Markdown side by side shows the source next to the page.

Add a cover picture: it is what readers see on the page's card.

The editor has its own guide: The editor: text, maths, diagrams, pictures, film and files.
Publish it
Press Save to keep a draft, then Request for Review. On a new page you are its only maintainer: press Approve, then Publish.

The page is live, at version 1.

Improve someone else's page
Open any page and press New change. You get a copy of the page to edit; the page itself is untouched until the change is approved.

Say what you changed, so reviewers know what they are reading. A change cannot be sent for review without it.

Press Request for Review. The page's maintainers are told.

Review a change
Changes waiting for your vote are under My Reviews.

Open one and choose Changes for a line-by-line view, or Side by side to read both versions with what changed marked — green added, red removed, amber changed. Pictures, films, PDFs and tables are compared too.

Press Approve — or Request changes or Disapprove, with a comment. Once it is approved, its author presses Publish, and the page moves to the next version. The author becomes one of the page's contributors.

List subpages
A page can list other pages under it — chapters, related places, the parts of a guide. In a change, press Add a list of subpages, name the list, and search for the pages to add.

Once the change is published, the list shows under the article and in its outline.

Get paid
Readers support a page from its Support tab — once, or daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. After Stripe's fee, 86% goes to the page's maintainers: two shares to the author, one to each contributor.

To receive your share, connect a payout account: Settings → Payment → Set up payouts on Stripe. Until you do, support is shared among the maintainers who have one.

Take on a page that is up for grabs
Thousands of pages were imported from public-domain sources and are waiting for a writer. Up for Grabs lists them; take one on, rewrite it in your own words, and it is yours to maintain and earn from.
