Denne side er offentlig.
Everything here is live on hubnx.com. The guides cover each part in full: pages, publications, workspaces and the editor.
In short
- Read a publication like a book: in order, with its contents beside the page.
- Every version of a page: read it, compare it with any other, restore it.
- Install Hub Nexus on a phone, a tablet or a computer; pages you have read open offline.
- Your language first on Explore and on topic pages.
- Publish your own page in one press when you are its only maintainer.
- Start a page as a video, a recording, pictures or a document.
- A publication's support reaches every maintainer of its pages, not only their authors.
- Workspaces: one settings page, invitations with a role, an audit log that names who and what, and deletion that erases the files too.
- Every screen walked through again at six widths, light and dark, with a mouse, a keyboard and touch, and what did not work fixed.
Reading
Publications read like a book
Press Start reading on a publication and its pages open in order, its main page first. The contents sit beside the page: Page 1 of 5, how far you are, and every page by its name. ← and → turn the page, and All N pages finds a page by its title or goes to a number. Come back later, and Continue reading opens where you stopped.

A publication's page now puts Start reading, Follow and Support in one row at its top, and a publication without a picture wears a jacket with its name. Lists of subpages became publications of their own, and their old addresses lead to them.
Every version of a page
On a page's Changes tab, every published version can be read as it was. Compare with sets it against any other version, line by line or Side by side, with what changed marked. Restore this version opens an ordinary change with that version's words and files, reviewed and published like any other.

Your language first
Explore on the home page, and every topic page, start with pages in your language, then go on to the rest. Choose your language in the navigation, beside the theme.

An app, and offline
On an iPhone or iPad, choose Add to Home Screen from the Share menu; on a computer, use your browser's install button. Public pages and publications you have opened stay readable without a connection — the last 80 — and signing out clears them.
Turn on Settings › Notifications › On this device, and your notifications reach your lock screen. On an iPhone or iPad, add Hub Nexus to the Home Screen first: iOS sends notifications only to installed apps. A workspace's page is never named on a lock screen.
Pages that hold still
- A film shows a still from itself before you press play, in its own shape. The film itself loads only when you play it.
- Pictures keep their size while they load, so the text you are reading does not move.
- A link to a heading lands on it, and stays there while the page's pictures arrive.
- The outline beside an article shows all of itself: it scrolls on its own and follows you down the page.
- On a wide screen, galleries use the whole width; articles, search results and settings keep a comfortable reading width, centred.
- On a gallery card, Save and Share hold still under a slow pointer, and a card's film plays only when the pointer rests on it.
Writing
Publish your own page in one press
When you are the only maintainer of a public page, the draft's button reads Publish: your next version goes live at once, without a review round with yourself. Invite another maintainer, and changes go to review again. A workspace's pages always go through review.
Start with what you have
Under a new page's first line, the editor offers Video, Record a video, Record audio, Pictures, PDF or document, or the headings of a How-to guide or a Research write-up. The offer goes the moment you type.

Nothing you write is overwritten
- The same draft open in two tabs or on two devices: a save from one never writes over the other. The editor says This change was saved somewhere else, and Merge it in brings that save into what you have.
- If the page moves on while you write, your change says This page has moved on while you were writing. Merge the latest in brings the newer version in; where you both changed the same lines, Keep mine there, take the rest settles it. A change never publishes over a version it has not seen.
- A change carries its page's licence and its source, so publishing never changes the licence by accident.
- In the editor, task lists have boxes, footnotes show their number, a divider survives saving, and a picture, file or formula added to an article that ends in a block of code is kept.
Money
- A publication's support reaches every maintainer of its pages. After Stripe's fee and Hub Nexus's 14%, half goes to its curators and half to its published pages, an equal part for each. Each page's part is shared by its maintainers as the page's own support is: two shares to its author, one to each contributor. Before, a page's part went to its author alone. All of it is on Fees and payouts.
- A payment box is one shape everywhere: the amounts across it and the button under them. Other is typed in place, so the box never grows.
- The button says what you will pay and how often — Support with $10 every month — and amounts are written as your language writes them.
- A refund of repeating support also ends it.
Workspaces
- Settings on one page: General, Members and roles, Groups and approvers, Verified domains, Single sign-on, SCIM provisioning, Signed approvals, Recognition budget, Audit log and Delete, with an index beside them.
- Invitations carry a role: Member, Guest or Administrator, each explained in a line.
- The audit log names who and what each line touched, newest first, with exact times, and downloads whole as CSV.
- Deleting a workspace erases its files too. Its pages' texts and files are kept apart under the workspace, and deleting it removes all of them, every copy. The owner confirms with a code emailed at that moment.
- An account made only for an invitation is erased if its person never signs in and the invitation ends.
- Search on a phone names where it is looking: this workspace, all your workspaces, or public Hub Nexus.
- The Workspace Terms and the Data Processing Agreement are published, and accepted when a workspace is created.
- The workspace guide is rewritten, with every screen as it is now.
Getting around
- The navigation opens and closes in one step. Light, System and Dark are named; About, Fees, Terms, Privacy and Security sit at its foot; Sign out is always in reach. On a touch tablet or a wide screen, it starts open with its names showing.
- Search in the header is compact: press / to jump to it, and the arrow keys and Enter to choose.
- Send feedback, at the foot of the navigation: report a problem or share an idea, with a picture of the page you can mark up — highlight what matters, black out anything private.
- By keyboard, every card takes the focus and opens with Enter, and closing a dialog takes you back to the button that opened it.
- Seven guide videos — the overview, publishing, improving a page, getting paid, publications, workspaces and the editor — on Tutorials and in the guides.
- What people make here: who Hub Nexus is for, with live examples.
- Nothing jumps as a page loads: the navigation, the header, the home page, search results and the support box are drawn in their final place from the first frame.
- Sixteen languages, kept in step. Every screen is translated, the Terms and Privacy policy were read again in 12 languages, and words that read wrong were fixed: a contributor was a "donor", a "taxpayer" or a "poster" in five of them.
How we checked
In early October we audited every flow on the site against the products people compare us with, then walked each one through in a real browser — visiting, reading, writing and review, publications, money, accounts, administration, search and workspaces — at six screen widths from a phone to a 3,440-pixel monitor, in light and dark, with a mouse, a keyboard and touch. That found 417 problems, from a first tap on Create that did nothing on a phone to a language list that switched language on the first key you typed. Each fix was checked again on the fixed site, which found 47 more. All but a handful are fixed and live; the rest are on our list.
